What is Fear Telling You?Fear is a funny thing.

At this moment, I’ve just relaunched this website. I have clarity on what the website will focus on and what I want to do. Things that seemed to take forever in the past are all of a sudden falling into place with minimal effort. I’m thinking to myself, “Oh, snap. This might really happen.

And then this funny feeling crept in… FEAR.

Twitter Followers: Quantity vs QualityHave you ever viewed the Twitter profile of someone who just joined and wondered how they were able to get thousands of followers?

Or maybe you get new followers now and then and wonder how they found you?

I was browsing online recently and came across a free e-book on online marketing. I won’t get into the e-book mistakes that were made. That’s for another time.

What really caught my attention was the advice given on gaining Twitter followers.

The e-book advised that the general Twitter rules are:

  1. If you follow someone, they will most likely follow you back.
  2. If someone doesn’t follow you back in a couple of days, unfollow them.

EcoCampus Dedication 1.28.12.126Today, I want you to think about this question..

What have you done for your customers lately?

Beyond providing them with your amazing services, of course.

Take a look at your last few emails, Facebook posts, tweets, or blog posts. Have they primarily been about you or your business?

If so, then it’s time to focus on ways to provide more value to your customers.

wordpress + berlin theme + photography = in progress...I was doing online research today and came across an article on a WordPress blog.

As I looked over the website, I noticed the theme information in the footer. I clicked the link and began reading about the theme. I really liked the theme!

And with that, those feelings of doubts entered my mind..

Why didn’t I pick that theme for my website?

Do you ever find yourself in that vicious cycle?

Plate of Fortune CookiesGreetings! I’ve developed a new series of posts I like to call Fortune Cookie Wisdom (FCW). Sure, fortune cookies are a fun way to end a meal, but the reality is they do sometimes have good advice. So next time you get a fortune cookie, apply the wisdom to your business.

Now for today’s fortune:
A bargain is not a bargain unless you can use the product.

I actually love this one! It applies to both buyers and sellers.

How often have you considered buying something for your business because it was at a discount price?

Google Apps for BusinessHappy Tuesday!! I hope you all are having a great week. I am because I signed up for an awesome new Google Service.

Google Apps.

The funny thing is that Google Apps is not new.

I actually received a postcard from Google advertising Google Apps for Business months ago. I saw that it was a service you have to pay for and tossed it.

Plus, I didn’t think it would help me much since I run a small business.

Boy was I wrong.

To do listIt amazes me sometimes how people underestimate the power of a list.

It may seem like a waste of time, but lists are a powerful tool as you move towards your goal and even after you have made it to your goal.

Making a list of your goals serves as a little reminder of what it is you want to do.

I don’t know how many times I’ve had as little as five things I needed to do and just had the thoughts running around in my head.

You know that feeling?

Like-Minded PeopleDo you have a support system in place to help you on your journey?

Sometimes when you have a BIG dream, no matter what it is, your family and friends may tell you to go for it, but do they really support you?

Maybe yours do, and if so, congratulations.

But the reality is, if your goal is to experience something they are not actively involved in themselves, they may not fully understand it enough to push you when need it most.
