While comments are a great way to interact with readers on your WordPress blog, sometimes you may want to turn them off. You may want to prevent additional comments on a post or maybe you don’t want comments allowed period.
Whatever the reason, turning off the comments feature in WordPress can be done a couple of different ways.

Fear is a funny thing.
At this moment, I’ve just relaunched this website. I have clarity on what the website will focus on and what I want to do. Things that seemed to take forever in the past are all of a sudden falling into place with minimal effort. I’m thinking to myself, “Oh, snap. This might really happen.”
And then this funny feeling crept in… FEAR.

I was browsing online recently and came across a free e-book on online marketing. I won’t get into the e-book mistakes that were made. That’s for another time.
What really caught my attention was the advice given on gaining Twitter followers.

5000: The maximum number of friends you can have on a Facebook profile. Yes, there is a limit. If you have your business setup as a profile, make it a Page A.S.A.P.

What have you done for your customers lately?
Beyond providing them with your amazing services, of course.
Take a look at your last few emails, Facebook posts, tweets, or blog posts. Have they primarily been about you or your business?
If so, then it’s time to focus on ways to provide more value to your customers.

I was doing online research today and came across an article on a WordPress blog.
As I looked over the website, I noticed the theme information in the footer. I clicked the link and began reading about the theme. I really liked the theme!
And with that, those feelings of doubts entered my mind..
Why didn’t I pick that theme for my website?

The funny thing is that Google Apps is not new.
I actually received a postcard from Google advertising Google Apps for Business months ago. I saw that it was a service you have to pay for and tossed it.
Plus, I didn’t think it would help me much since I run a small business.
Boy was I wrong.
It amazes me sometimes how people underestimate the power of a list.
It may seem like a waste of time, but lists are a powerful tool as you move towards your goal and even after you have made it to your goal.
Making a list of your goals serves as a little reminder of what it is you want to do.
I don’t know how many times I’ve had as little as five things I needed to do and just had the thoughts running around in my head.
You know that feeling?
Do you have a support system in place to help you on your journey?
Sometimes when you have a BIG dream, no matter what it is, your family and friends may tell you to go for it, but do they really support you?
Maybe yours do, and if so, congratulations.
But the reality is, if your goal is to experience something they are not actively involved in themselves, they may not fully understand it enough to push you when need it most.
